Hello and welcome to my comics page. This far this page only contains information on Calvin and Hobbes but I like several other comics and I'd like to include them on this page as well in the future. If there is any other comics that you really enjoy please drop me a mail and I'll see what I can do. Do you have a page connected to this subject (comics:-) which you would like to have linked from this page, drop me a mail and we'll exchange links. My absolute favourite comics are Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson, but I also like the Swamp. I like several others as well but the only real original is Calvin and Hobbes, or?!? There is a magazine here in Sweden called Serieparaden which has both Calvin and Hobbes and the Swamp along with several other more or less successful comics, it was through that mag I first got in contact with these comics back in 1987. You might think this page should have more images or something but apart from the duck at the end of this dokument I've tried not to violate any copyrights. If I get permission to use some images here I sure will, but I generally think that Calvin and Hobbes is so good that you should go out and buy the Treasury Collections available. If anybody know how to get permission to use those images please mail me.

I think comics are a great way of relaxing and an easy way to have fun. I'm the type of person who can burst into laughter by reading my favourite strips with Calivin and Hobbes. Until recently I only followed them in Serieparaden, but when I went to Stockholm mid may I bought three fat albums. I like the way that Calvin and Hobbes interact and when Calvin goes into his dreams being Spiff the Spaceman a giant t-rex. I think Bill has managed to create a realistic and funny way of describing the world from the eyes of a six-year-old. The first Strip was published November 18, 1985 and since then something round 3000 strips have been done by Bill Watterson.

Together they cost me almost 500 sek, but they are well worth it. I've read many of the strips before but in swedish and because of that, I found these like totally new ones because the were in english and I hadn't read them like that. There are two more Treasury Collections that I don't own but I intend to change this as soon as I get hold of them. I think the Tenth Anniversary Book was very good because Bill explained the characters and wrote some of the feedback he had been given on the characters over the years. To some of the strips in the Tenth Anniversary Book there are some text explaining his thoughts behind the strip.

Recently went to Denmark to a city called Hillerod and purchased 3 albums to a total cost of about 400 sek, so they were cheaper than in Stockholm where I bought the others but the didn't have the book The Calvin and Hobbes Lazy Sunday Book which I wanted to buy - I would then have all five of the treasury collections but since it wasn't there I ended up with the following albums:
